The story behind the Forgotten-Soldiers goes back to when I first hit online gaming.
Like many when they first gamed online I was quiet and tried to find a safe place to play and not get killed too much.
Quickly learning about clans and recruiters I thought I need a tag in front of my name so they will forget about me and try to recruit someone else!
The game at the time for me was Halo and I told my friends we need a fake tag to avoid recruiting,
as we all worked at Future Shop (linked to BestBuy in the US) I said why not FS?

The FS tag worked...we all were "tagged" and now forgotten by recruiters and able to just play the game and have fun!
Soon enough I was approached by a friend and asked to help form a Halo clan - I thought maybe FS?
The group of founders decided on 3i for The Third Infantry and I put the FS tag into retirement sometime in late 2006.

The Third Infantry grew for about a year and then sufferred a large split that ultimately killed 3i.... those that remained with me adopted the FS tags as The Forgotten-Soldiers.
An unofficial clan - more of a community...but again the FS tags were retired as not many of us were able to move ahead in gaming.
Once I was able to move on, I held on tight to my FS tags as I started playing Call of Duty 2.
This led shortly to my application with The Montana Outlaws on Oct 24/2008. Upon applying it was time to retire the FS tags once again.

My time with Montana Outlaws was amazing and I had never planned on leaving but things changed and so I had the chance to start over again.
Now having found my way back into my FS tags once more, I am very happy to finally - with some great friends once more to wear the FS tag proudly.
The difference now is moving forward knowing we are building the foundation of what will become a great clan.

With the The Forgotten-Soldiers we would like to honor MtO nazi for what he started and created in Montana Outlaws as part of the development and formation of Forgotten-Soldiers.

We have a history together that helped form who we are today. The Montana Outlaws spawned a few clans before us, I like to think that The Forgotten-Soldiers are the ones who did it right and are now able to move on with friends at MtO and a future for us all here at ~FS~.
